New Season of 'Orange Is the New Black' Stolen, Leaked Online
Can't wait for the next season of Orangish is the New Black? You might be in luck.
Co-ordinate to Diversity, an anonymous hacker posted almost of the 5th season of Orange Is the New Black on file-sharing site The Pirate Bay after Netflix allegedly failed to pay a ransom. The hacker—who goes by the allonym "thedarkoverlord"—published the get-go episode of flavour v on Friday before releasing nine more episodes over the weekend totaling 11.46GB, the study notes.
"It didn't have to be this way, Netflix," the hacker wrote in a message on Saturday, according to Variety. "You're going to lose a lot more money in all of this than what our modest offer was. We're quite aback to exhale the same air equally you lot. Nosotros figured a businesslike business such every bit yourselves would see and understand the benefits of cooperating with a reasonable and merciful entity like ourselves."
The streaming site plans to release season five of Orange Is the New Black on June 9, only that date may get pushed upwards at present that most of the 13-episode season has been leaked online, Variety reported.
According to the written report, thedarkoverlord also claims to take unreleased content from ABC, Play a trick on, National Geographic, and IFC. The leak appears to take originated from a late 2022 alienation of mail-production studio Larson Studios.
Netflix told PCMag said it's "enlightened of the situation."
"A product vendor used by several major TV studios had its security compromised and the appropriate law enforcement authorities are involved," Netflix said.
Content licensing and funding original content is an expensive attempt. Rival Hulu today, for example, announced a deal with NBCUniversal to bolster its upcoming live TV streaming service. When it launches this jump, the service will have more 50 channels, including NBC, Telemundo, U.s., Syfy, Bravo, E!, MSNBC, CNBC, and NBCSN. Hulu has as well inked deals with A+East Networks, 21st Century Pull a fast one on, The Walt Disney Company, Turner Networks, and CBS Corporation for the service.
